Georgia, Butts County


Know all men by these presents, that we Abner Bankston and Stephen Blissit are 
held and firmly bound unto their honours the Judges of the Court of Ordinary 
for said County, and their Successors in office, in the just and full sum of 
one thousand five hundred dollars, for the payment of which sum, to the said 
judges and their successors in office, we bind ourselves our heirs executors 
and administrators, jointly and severally firmly by these presents, sealed with 
our seals, and dated this third day of January Eighteen hundred and thirty 
one.  The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the said 
Abner Bankston is this day appointed guardian to Anjulina Alston Abner and John 
Payne orphans of William Payne, now if the said Abner Bankston do well and 
truly demean himself as guardian aforesaid, agreeable to letters of 
guardianship bearing even date herewith, and agreeably to law in such case made 
and provided, the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full 
force and virtue.

Additional Comments:
There is no punctuation mark between the names of Anjulina Alston Abner and 
John Payne. Assuming this is four (4) individuals!!!
