The funeral service of Mrs. Connie Ragan Cheney, 87, who died today, will be
conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at Morgan Baptist Church with internment in Morgan
Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cheney, a native of Calhoun County, had resided here most of her life and
was a homemaker and a member of Morgan Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Edgar Kent Cheny of Arlington; three daughters, Mrs.
Louise Sirmons of Blakely, Mrs. Connie Helen Scott of Americus and Mrs. Martha
Blount of Jemez Springs, N.M., 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Manry-Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
