Kent Ragan, 67, of Lee County died Wednesday in Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
He had lived in Lee County for the last year, moving there from Albany.
Mr. Ragan was a native of Morgan.  Prior to coming to Albany he operated a
grocery store in Morgan.  In Albany he operated a restaurant.  Prior to his
retirement three years ago, Mr. Ragan was a desk clerk at James Rivers Motel. 
He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Palmyra Road United Methodist
Church.
survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cathryn Eubanks Ragan; two sons, Kent Ragan
III, Albany, and Donnie Ray Ragan, Lee County; three grandchildren, a brother,
Bob Ragan, Albany; a sister, Mrs. Cliff Cheney, Morgan; and a number of neices
and nephews.
the funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 am at Kimbre;;-Stern by the
Rev. David H. Dickens.  Internment will follow in a local cemetrey.
