Mrs. Bullard prior to her marriage to Mr. Mose Bullard, who preceeded her to the grave several years ago, was a Miss Yawn and was born and raised in this county. With her husband and family she moved to the the present Bullard home thirty-two years ago. She was blessed with good health nearly all her life and showed wonderful vitality in the long illness that finally claimed her. Mrs. Bullard identifed herself with the local Methodist church on her removal to this community… Mrs. Bullard is survived by five children, all of whom were with her when death came, viz: Messrs. J. M. and W. W. Bullard, and Miss Mary Bullard; Mrs. Thomas Tanner, of near Edison; Mrs. George Amos, of Donalsonville and Mrs. Robert Cherry, of Bainbridge. A half-sister, Mrs. Julia Jordan, of Early county, and several grand and gret-grand [sic] children also survive her. Interment occurred at Salem cemetery Wednesday afternoon, funeral services being conducted by her pastor, Rev Marvin Vincent. Funeral arrangements were in charge of local undertakers. We join the community in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. A Friend.
