Carolyn Cole Coward, 55, of Kingsland died Monday at her residence. 

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel
of Edo Miller-Dekle-Wainwright Funeral Home in
Kingsland with the Rev. Vernon Dillingham officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. 

Pallbearers will be Robert Eugene Thomas, Eugene Duke,
Philip Groover, Robert Thomas, Robert Luckenbill and
Ron Fuller.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home
from 7 until 9 tonight.

Surviving are her husband, Bobby G. Coward of
Kingsland; a son, Kenneth Errol Pike Jr. of Charleston,
S.C.; a daughter, Lavonda Jean Groover of Attalla,
Ala.; her father, Ernest C. Cole of Attalla; her
mother, Thelma J. Cole of Attalla; a sister Susan Cole
Thomas of Kingsland; two brothers, Toby Lee Cole of
South Carolina and David Gerald Cole of North Carolina;
three grandchildren.

Mrs. Coward had been a resident of Camden County since
1993, moving to this area from Charleston. 

She was a member of Remount Road Baptist Church in
North Charleston, S.C.
