A native of Brantley County, Mr. Crews had lived in Camden County for the past 40 years. He was retired from Gilman Paper Company. Mr. Crews attended Boulounge Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Allison Memorial Chapel in St. Marys with the Rev. Andrew Gillis officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funerl home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525. Survivors include his wife, Annie S. Crews of St. Marys; mother, Sallie O'Donnell Crews of Kingsland; two sons, Gregory Crews and Bryan Crews, both of St. Marys; a daughter, Melissa Strickland of St. Marys; two brothers, Roy Crews of White Oak and Charles Mathiez of Alabama; two sisters, Shirley Marr and Sandy Chambliss, both of St. Marys; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. http://www.thebrunswicknews.com/ CREWS - Perry Crews, 55, of St. Marys died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004 at his residence. Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Allison Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Andrew Gillis officiating.
