                              Joseph L. Drury Died Suddenly
   Joseph Lemeul Drury, 68, of St. Marys, died suddenly at his home Tuesday 
night, following a heart attack.
   Mr. Drury was well known in this section. He was born in White Oak, but for 
the past 18 years had resided in St. Marys. He was a member of Oak Grove 
Baptist Church, and also a member of Camden Lodge No. 476 Free and Accepted 
Masons in St. Marys.
   Survivors are his widow , and three sons, David Drury of Hazelhurst; Robert 
and Joe Drury, St. Marys; three sisters Mrs. D. A. McRae, St. Marys; Mrs. Joel 
Green, Brunswick; Mrs. Rillia Hickox, Folkston, and one brother R. W. Drury, 
of Fernandina, Fla.
   Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. E. H. Campbell, pastor of 
the Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Herbert Ethridge, pastor of the Methodist 
Church, Friday morning at 10 o’clock in the Baptist Church at St. Marys. 
Internment will be in Oak Grove cemetery, near White Oak, with Oxley Funeral 
Home, of Fernandina, Fla., in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are selected 
from the Masonic Lodge.
