(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net January 30, 2009, 12:02 pm The Camden County Tribune 6-22-1994 Foskey Ophelia Foskey, 72, of St. Marys, died June 17, 1994 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla., following a lengthy illness. The Abbeville native had resided in Camden County most of her life. She was a member of Coastal Baptist Church in St. Marys and was a homemaker. Survivors include five sons, Robert Marr and Tommy Marr, both of St. Marys, James Foskey and John Foskey, both of Kingsland, and Buddy Foskey of Millwood; one daughter, Polly Johnson of Hillard, Fla.; three sisters, Lottie Scott of Waycross, Millie Mashburn of Cordele, and Bobbie Forrest of Lake City, Fla.; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services and interment were held June 19 in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. The Rev. Junior Forrest officiated. Dekle-Wainwright Funeral Home in Kingsland was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Ophelia was born 5-7-1922. Her first husband was bernie Prince Marr and her second husband was Jack Hamilton Foskey.
