BRUNSWICK -- Barty Howard Jr., 65, died June 27 at
Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center.

The Camden County native was a retired supervisor with
the City of Brunswick sanitation department. 

SURVIVORS: his wife, Betty Howard of Brunswick; sons,
Barty Howard III and Justin Howard, both of Brunswick;
daughters, Tina Howard White of Darien, Nona Howard
Hawkins and Fumiko Leggette, both of Las Vegas;
brothers, Townsend Jackson, James Howard, Joe Howard
and Rodney Howard, all of Brunswick, Ulysses Howard of
Miami and Theodore Howard of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.;
sisters, Delores Morris of Jamaica, N.Y., Carolyn
Edwards of Brooklyn, N.Y., Marilyn Howard, Joyce Howard
and Vanessa Coley, all of Brunswick, and Sheila Howard
of Waverly; 10 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a
number of nieces and nephews. 

VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hall, Jones and Brown
Funeral Home, Brunswick.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson Temple First Born
Church, burial in Mount Sinai Churchyard Cemetery,
Waverly.
