Beatrice Harris Shellman, 75, of Kingsland died Sunday
in Jacksonville. 

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at
Evergreen Baptist Church in Kingsland with the Rev.
Martin Scott officiating. Burial will follow in
Mollette Cemetery in Kingsland.

Pallbearers are grandsons.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m.
Friday at Zion Sister Baptist Church in Kingsland.

Surviving are three sons, Mackie Lee Harris Thomas of
Albany, Vernal Harris Jr. of Rochester, N.Y., and Larry
Harris of Atlanta; five daughters, Vivian Jones and
Joyce Long, both of Jacksonville, Doris Timmons of
Kingsland, Jackie Denson of Atlanta and Selina Denson
of Rochester; two brothers, Melvin Bailey and Donald
Bailey; three sisters, Cora Jones, Willie Mae Terry and
Dorothy Jackson; grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
nieces and nephews; and other family.

Mrs. Shellman attended school in Camden County and was
active at Zion Sisters Baptist Church in Greenville.
