Bernice Mae Sarman Stone, 58, of Waynesville, died
Sunday at her residence.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the
Waynesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Thompson
officiating. Burial will follow at the Bickley Chapel
Cemetery in Camden County.

The family will receive friends tonight at the
Chambless Funeral Home in Nahunta.

Pallbearers will be Eric Hummel, Author Lassiter, Ray
Williams, David Crockett, Billy Persaw and Carl Persaw.

Surviving are her husband, Johnny E. Stone of
Waynesville; three daughters, Teressa Gunter of
Hortense, Donna Teston of Waynesville and Denise Hester
of Atkinson; two sons, Tony Newman and Rusty Lloyd,
both of Woodbine; her mother and stepfather, Bernice
and Ed McClure of Brunswick; two stepsons, Hank Stone
of Brunswick and Gary Stone of Conyers; a sister,
Connie Pryor of Wichita Falls, Texas; 27 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews
and other relatives.

A native of Glynn County, she was a homemaker.
