BLACKSHEAR GEORGIAN December 16, 1885 Bailey's Mill Camden County, Ga. Dec. 7, 1885 Mrs. Cintha Serleter Wells (widow of John A. Wells,) after a brief sickness of 10 days died of pneumonia, on Saturday 5th inst., at 7:45 p.m. at the house of her son-in-law, Capt. W.F. Bailey, aged 81 yrs, 8 months and 7 days. This estimable and devout Christian lady was born in Beaufort District, South Carolina, and was a resident of Ga. for the past 60 years. Her remains were interred by the side of her husband in the Burnt Fort Cemetery. The Rev. D. Watson Winn officiated. Since the death of her husband last August, her few declining days have been of extreme grief. Her funeral was largely attended by her relatives and friends. The news of her death will be received with great regret by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
