Clifford Leroy Williams, 73, of Kingsland died Tuesday at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Allison Memorial Chapel in
St. Marys with the Rev. George Anderson officiating. A private burial will be
held at Homeward Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 1262,
Kingsland, GA, 31548.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Williams of Kingsland; two sons, Clifford
Williams Jr. of Mobile, Ala., and Mike Hamilton of Kingsland; three daughters,
Fawn Price of Mobile, Heidi Popham of Waynesville and Bobbi MacDonald of
Hasting, Fla.; four sisters, Lois Velderroma and Trudy Gray, both of Houston,
Dixie Menely of Naples, Fla., and Marlene Wolverton of Batondorf, Iowa; 11
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A native of Modesto, Calif., Mr. Williams lived in Camden County for the past 27
years. He was retired from Ploof Truck Lines with 35 years of service and was a
veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
