Campbell County

By the Court of Ordinary for said county.  To Bennet W. Bonner of said County.  
Greeting:
Whereas James W. Martha J. and Mary F. Baughn orphans of John T. Baughn 
deceased possessed in their ___rights of a considerable estate by means whereof 
the power of granting the guardianship of the said James W. Martha J. and Mary 
F. Baughn to us is manifestly given to belong and for the better serving the 
estate and more ample maintenance and administration of the same orphans, and 
from the integrity and confidence reposed in you we do hereby commit the 
tuition education and guardianship of the said James W., Martha J. and Mary F. 
Baughn to you the said Bennet W. Bonner you assenting thereto by your 
acceptance of these ______; herein charging you, that (crossed out word)  you 
maintain cause to be educated said orphans in such manner as shall be suitable 
to their interest and circumstances during their minority, and that you inquire 
into and take charge of this estate both real and personal and all other things 
to which by law you ought to do, for said wards of all which in a true and 
perfect account you shall render to the court of ordinary for said county 
according to law, in every years during your continuance in office and lastly 
we do hereby constitute and appoint you the said Bennet W. Bonner guardian of 
the aforesaid Jas. W. Martha J., and Mary F. Baughn during their minority.

Witness my hand as ordinary and the seal of the court this 2 day of August 1858.
