This Indenture made and entered into this the Thirtieth
day of July in the year of our Lord one  thousand Eight
hundred and fifty seven between Berry W. Cochran of the
county and state aforesaid of the one part and Grant
Roberts of the same place of the other part.   Witnesseth
as follows viz, That the said Berry W. Cochran for and in
consideration of the sum of twelve Hundred dollars to him
in hand paid at & before the sealing and delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged,  hath bargained and sold & by these
presents doth bargain sell and convey to the said Grant
Roberts his heirs & assigns one sixty eight  acres of
land,  being the East part of Lot No (26) twenty six in
the Eighth district of originally Coweta  now Campbell
County known as a part of the Longino Land, except so
much of said Land as has been deeded at the Graveyard to
the Misses Longino for a burying Ground, To have and to
hold the said tract or parcel of land to him the said
Grant Roberts his heirs and assigns forever in fee
simple, And the said Berry W. Cochran will warrant &
forever defend the right & title to the same against the
Lawful claim & claims of all & every person Whatsoever to
him the said Grant Roberts his heirs & assigns. In
Witness Whereof said Berry W. Cochran hath hereunto set
his hand & affixed his seal this day & year first above
written
