Campbell County

This indenture made this 22nd day of January in the
year of our Lord eighteen hundred and eighty four
between Sarah R. Kite and Ann S. Barkwell of the county
and state aforesaid of the one part and James T. Cook
and Burton B. Ganus of the same place of the other
part; witnesseth that the said Sarah R. Kite and Ann S.
Barkwell for and inconsideration of the sum of the one
hundred and thirty three and thirty five cents to them
in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed
and does by these presents grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said James T. Cook and Burton B. Ganus
their heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of
land situate lying and being two thirds of twenty five
acres in the north east corner of lot of land number
sixty seven in the thirteenth district of originally
Henry now Campbell County, containing sixteen and two
third acres more or less with all the rights members
and appertanances thereunto belonging.  To have and to
hold the afore described lot or parcel of land unto
them the said James T. Cook and Burton B. Ganus their
heirs and assigns together with all the rights members
and appertanances to the said lot of land in any wise
belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and
behoof forever in Fee Simple.  And the said Sarah R.
Kite and Ann S. Barkwell for themselves their heirs
executors and administrators the said bargained
premises together with the right, title and possession
thereof unto the said James T. Cook and Burton B. Ganus
their heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend
the right and title thereof against themselves and
against themselves(sic) and against the claim of all
other persons whatsoever. 

In testimony whereof the said Sarah R. Kite and Ann S.
Barkwell hath hereunto set their hand and affixed their
seals the day and year first above written.
