Bartlett of the state aforesaid and county of (Campbell--- crossed out) Fulton of the other part witnesseth that the said James McCluskey for and in consideration of one hundred and thirty one dollars taken in hand paid and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and assigned and doth by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Isaac E. Bartlett his heirs and assigns all that tract of parcel or land lying and being in the county of Campbell and known as lot number five hundred and sixty five (565) in the 18th district 2nd section of originally Cherokee now Campbell County containing forty (40) acres more or less to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Isaac E. Bartlett his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appertanances thereof to the same in any member belonging to his otherwise proper use benefit and behoof in fee simple. And the same James McClusky for his heirs executors Admin. the said bargained premises unto the said Isaac E. Bartlett his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right title thereof against the claim of all the persons whatever.
