Deeds Book T 1914-1917 p 279 Georgia Campbell County This indenture, made this 31st day of March 1915, between Miss Anice Cook, R. Jas Cook, J.A. Cook, of the said state and county Mrs. R.L. Howard, G.T. Cook, Mrs. Pearl Bowen, of Hall County Georgia, Mrs. Eula Short, of Clayton County Georgia, and Mrs. J.N. Trentham of Montgomery Alabama parties of the first part, and Mrs. R.J. Cook of Campbell County Georgia party of the second part, witnesseth, Whereas Reuben J. Cook the father of said parties of the first part, and husband of said party of the second part, died in said county of Campbell intestate on the 2nd day of March 1915, leaving considerable estate of both real and personal property, there being more than a sufficiency of the personal property to satisfy all debts and obligations due by said Reuben J. Cook at the time of his death, and the affairs of the estate of said deceased and their several interest therein, and it being the wish and desire of said Reuben J. Cook deceased that his widow should have a life estate in all his property with remainder to said parties of the first part, it being the wish of all the said parties that his desire be carried out, and in furtherance thereof the said Mrs. R.J. Cook, widow of the said deceased having consented and agreed to relinquish her right to a years support and to a dower and all other right and interest to which under the law she is entitled, now in consideration of the premises and of said relinquishment on the part of said Mrs. R.J. Cook of all her interest to which she is entitled as aforesaid in said estate, we said parties of the first part have granted, bargained; sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey, unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns, all the personal property, of every kind and character belonging to said estate after the payment of the debts due by said deceased at the date of his death from said personal property or the proceeds thereof, together with a life estate in 208 acres of land more or less, situated lying and being in the 7th district of originally Coweta now Campbell County Georgia, and being part of lots of land No. 83 and 84 in said district and lying in one body and being the home place of said Reuben J. Cook at time of his death and said land more fully described in book K, pages 681, 682, 685, and book M. page 135 deed records, superior court of Campbell County Georgia, it being the purpose of this instrument to convey to said Mrs. R.J. Cook absolute estate in all the personal property belonging to the estate of said Reuben J. Cook subject to the payment of his debts, and a life estate in the real property belonging to said Reuben J. Cook at time of his death with remainder to said parties of the first part. To have and to hold said personal property, and said life estate, together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use, benefit, and behoof of the said party of the second part, her heirs, executors, and administrators, so that neither the said parties of the first part nor their heirs, nor any other person or persons claiming under them shall at any time, by any means, or ways, have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid personal property, or life estate in said real property. In witness whereof, the said Miss Anice Cook, R. James Cook, J.A. Cook, Mrs. R.L. Howard, G.T. Cook, Mrs. Pearl Bowen, Mrs. Eula Short, and Mrs. J.N.
