Campbell County Deed Book A, page 503

Georgia   }  This Indenture Made & entered into this the twenty sixth day of May
Campbell County }   One thousand eight hundred & thirty six Between Abram 
Miller of the County & State aforesaid of the One part and Grant Roberts of the 
Same place of the other part
	Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of Two hundred & 
forty five Dollars to the Said Miller in hand paid by the Said Roberts, the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day granted bargained & sold 
and doth by these presents grant bargain & sell unto the said Roberts his 
heirs, assigns &c &c all that tract or parcel of Land situate lying & being in 
the Eighth district of originally Coweta now Campbell County known & 
distinguished in the plan of said district by number forty to have & to hold 
the said Lot or parcel of Land, with all & singular the rights members & 
appurtenances unto the said Grant Roberts, his heirs & assigns to his & their 
use forever in Fee Simple  And the said Miller doth by these presents warrant & 
defend the right & title of the aforesaid bargained Lot of Land unto the said 
Roberts his heirs & assigns &c &c from the Claims of him the said Miller his 
heirs &c and from the Claims of other persons whatever
	With the following Condition to wit, that whereas the Said Miller hath 
made & delivered unto the said Roberts his Certain two promissory notes dated 
sometime in the month of December 1835 one for the sum of one hundred & twenty 
five dollars due on the twenty fifth of Decr 1837 Now if the Said Miller Shall 
well & truly pay off & discharge said notes according to their Terms & effect 
as they Shall become due, then the foregoing indenture to be null & void.  Else 
to remain in full force & virture—
In testimony whereof the said Miller hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his 
seal this 26th day of May 1836
