Cook, being duly sworn according to law, deposes and says that he is aged 61 years and has been a resident of the county of Campbell and Fulton for the past 61 years and has benn (sic) familiar for the past 30 years with the possession and ownership of the following described tract of land lying and being in the 13th District of Campbell County, Georgia, to-wit; 41.81 acres in lot 30, bounded on the north by lands of Sewell and S.S. Hathcock estate; east by J.H. Bailey and T.P. Moore; south by S.S. Hathcock estate and west of S.S. Hathcock estate, said property more fully described by plat made by J.W. Nalley, dated March 11th 1918. Deponent further states that for the past 30 years the said J.I. Eidson and his predecessors in title, namely, D.F. Eidson, D.C. Mims, S.G. Mims, L.C.McCleskey, Lucinda Yates, George E. Dwyer, James E. Lewis, John B. McCleskey, J.T. Waits, Simon Elanander, S.S. Hathcock, and Miss N.E. Yates, Joseph A. Cook and S.S. Hatchcock have respectively been in the open, notorious, continuous, exclusive, uninterrupted and peaceable possession in their own right in good faith of said land, and such possession was evidenced by the cultivation of the whole or a portion thereof and the erection and occupancy of buildings thereon, and has always been of such a nature that the same could have been ascertained upon reasonable enquiry or investigation. Deponent further states that the respective ownership and possession of each of the aforesaid parties has been recognized as good and unquestioned by people residing in the vicinity thereof and familiar therewith. During the years that I have been familiar with this property no question has ever been raised concerning the validity of this title or the possession of the above named parties.
