Campbell County
 
This indenture made an entered into this the first day of November 1855 
between James J. Gilliland of the County and State aforesaid of the one part 
and James McCluskey of the County of Fulton and State of Georgia of the other 
part. Witnesseth that the said James J. Gilliland for and in consideration of 
the sum of eighty dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do then by these 
presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said James McCluskey his heirs 
and assigns all that tract of parcel of land situated lying and being in the 
18th , eighteenth District and second section of originally Cherokee now 
Campbell County known and distinguished in said Plat by No 565, five hundred 
and sixty five containing forty acres more or less to have and to hold said 
tract or parcel of land unto him the said James McCluskey his heirs and 
assigns together with all and singular the right members and appurtenances 
thereof to the same in any manner belonging there on proper use benefit and 
behoof forever in fee simple and the said James J. Gilliland for himself his 
heirs executors and Administrators the said bargained premises unto the said 
McCluskey his heirs and assigns will warrant forever defend the rights and 
title thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons 
whatsoever.  In witness whereof the said James J. Gilliland hath hereunto set 
his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written.  Signed sealed 
and delivered in presence of
