This Indenture made and entered into the first day of
October in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight
Hundred and fifty five between Grant Roberts of the State
of Georgia and County of Campbell of the one part and
Ambrose Bullard of the State aforesaid and County of
Campbell of the other part.   Witnesseth,  that the said
Grant Roberts for and in consideration of the sum of One
thousand Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained
sold and conveyed unto the said and by these presents
doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Ambrose
Bullard his heirs and  all that tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in the Eighth District of
originally Coweta now Campbell County known and
distinguished in the plan of said Dist by the east half
of lot No 5) five containing One hundred one and one
fourth acres more or less   To have and to hold said
tract or parcel of land unto him the said Ambrose Bullard
his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the
rights members & appurtenances thereof to the same in any
manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit
and behoof forever & in Fee Simple  And the said Grant
Roberts for himself his heirs executors .and
administrators the said bargained premises unto the said
Ambrose Bullard his heirs & assigns will warrant and
forever defend the right & title thereof against them --

In Witness whereof the said Grant Roberts hath hereunto
set his hand & seal the day and year above written.
