April 27th

Mrs. Emmie Terry of Atlanta, Mrs. Sam Gentry of Palmetto and Mr. T.Z. Dean 
of Jonesboro were summoned Saturday to the bedside of their sister Mrs. Lena 
Dean Turner who is seriously ill with peritonitis.

Mrs. Fannie Manley, wife of Mr. A.J. Manley, died at her home near Sardis on 
Tuesday morning. The remains were interred at Sardis cemetery Wednesday at 10 
a.m. We extend the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy.
