Mrs. Lucy Roan, the aged mother of Judge L.S. Roan of the Stone Mountain 
circuit, died suddenly Wednesday morning at the home of her son at Fairburn, 
Ga. Judge Roan received the news of his mother's death while he was 
presiding over DeKalb Superior court at Decatur. The deceased was 87 years 
old and is survived by four sons and one daughter, Judge L.S. Roan, Dr. 
James Roan of south Georgia, Judge C.T Roan of Douglas, Ga., B.H. Roan of 
Atlanta, and Miss Ella Roan of Fairburn. Mrs. A.W. Stubbs of Banning is a 
granddaughter.
