THOMAS J. SMITH, FAIRBURN, GA.
Fairburn, Ga., October 22.—(Special.) After an illness of about two months, Hon.
Thomas J. Smith, one of the most prominent and influential planters of Campbell
county, died last night at his residence, four miles east of Fairburn. He was 60
years old. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter, Mrs.
Myrtis Barron, of Union City. The funeral will be at the Baptist church in
Fairburn, at 11 o'clock Saturday, and interment in Fairburn cemetery.
