Mittie Weah Tarrance was born Nov. 16, 1873 in Old Campbell Co., GA to George 
Washington Tarrance Jr. and his wife Catherine Lorena Rainwater Tarrance.  She 
married Sept. 17, 1889 to James M. Cochran in Campbell Co., GA.  They were the 
parents of Ima Jean Cochran Turner, born in April 1891, and Allie Weah Cochran 
Hataway, born Feb. 27, 1892.  Mittie died Oct. 10, 1893, before her 20th 
birthday, and James died a few short years later.
