Joel Brock Jr. was bonr in Old Campbell Co., GA to Joel Brock and Nancy Teal 
Brock in 1859.  He married first to Margarett Nix, secondly to Mary Elizabeth 
Cochran, and third to Vinnie Langley.  All are buried at Bethlehem Baptist.  He 
and Liz had 4 children that lived to adulthood:  Howard Pennington Brock, Verna 
Estelle Brock Rainwater, Vera Lois Brock Thomason, and Vassie Harold Brock 
Rainwater.  Verna and Vassie married brothers, George Felton Rainwater and 
Allen Cleveland Rainwater.  Vera's husband, Dr. John Washington Thomason, was 
Felton and Cleve's half first cousin.
