LOCAL News

The marriage of Miss Mary Pickens Johnson and Mr. Ben Wynn Cochran took 
place Tuesday evening at the home of the bride in Palmetto. The marriage was 
a quiet one, Rev. R.C. Rhodes officiating and was witnessed only by the 
members of both families. The bride is a bright and lovable young woman, 
both her family and that of the groom being of prominence and distinction. 
Mr. Cochran is the only son of the late Bapt. B.W. Cochran. He is a graduate 
of the Georgia School of Technology and one of the leading business men of 
Palmetto.
