Cartee Cemetery #49 From the Candler County Court House go East on Hwy 46 to Martin Luther King Blvd., turn left. Proceed 1.8 miles to Cartee Road, bear left, continue 2.7 miles to Landfill Road, turn left for .4 miles. First left road that is gated but unlocked. Go .04 miles to Cemetery on the right. The cemetery is enclosed with a 4 foot chain link fence and strong gate. There are only 5 markers, probably 3 or 4 unidentified grave sites that have been taken over by time and weather.
