Watson-Cowart Cemetery #33 From Candler County Court House travel 9.4 miles North on Hwy 23 towards Twin City. Turn left on Cowart Pond Road. Travel 3 miles. Cemetery is on the left. This is an old family cemetery that has not been used since the late 1800's. The Watson family has put a fence around it and cleans it up once a year. It is located near the old Cowart's pond on the Candler-Emanuel County line. It is where the Watson family located when they came to Georgia from Edgefield, S.C.
