Excelsior Baptist Church Cemetery #5 Located in southeastern part of County, near Bulloch County line, near crossing of roads 228 and 49, near Excelsior. The cemetery is 10.8 miles from the Candler County Courthouse. Take Highway 46 East in front of the Courthouse and turn right on 121 South (second red light). Take I-16 East and exit on Exit 111 (Pulaski-Excelsior Exit). Turn right toward Excelsior. The cemetery is 1.6 miles from this point on the left. Excelsior Baptist Church is believed to have been established about 1864 and was in Bulloch County at the time.
