I think that Isaiah Beck Jr.'s father was most likely Isaiah Beck Sr. and his wife Dorcas Holloway, but haven't found the documentation yet. So just have Isaiah Beck Jr. family and his descendants at this point in research. These Becks are in the Allen Gay (rev. war soldier) family bible along with some Teal families and I have not figured out how these Teals were connected to my Teals. My grandmother was Etta Gay who married Joseph Teal, and Allen Gay is my 4th great grandfather. My father always said that in the older days, it was not uncommon for distant cousins to marry, and I have found that to be true, even 1st and 2nd cousins, etc. Would like to exchange info on BECK, GAY, DYER and TEAL families who were in Carroll County, GA between 1830-1880's.
