OWENSBY FAMILY CEMETERY

Location:
The cemetery is still on a dirt road. It is Owensby Road. The cemetery is on the right in the woods.

b. January 24, 1840 - d. 1926 
(husband of Allie)

        CO. C, CONF. INF.
According to roster, he was a Private Feb 10, 1863.
Captured at Nashville, TN 16 Dec 1864.  Imprisoned at
Louisville, KY and Cape Douglas, IL.  Released from
latter place 19 June 1865.  Died in Carroll Co., GA.
