A bill dated August 4th, 1860- Notice in reference to accounts 
 
Samuel Freeman, Carrollton, GA., Attorney for Joshua Taylor, Administrator 
 
Advertisement for sale of land in Carroll County, GA, paid August 6, 1869,  
letter to: 
 
Newnans, GA April 15th 1869 to Joshua Taylor 
 
Dear Sir, I am in receipt of your last (?). I herewith enclose you this balance  
of the $30.00 I retained out of the f...? of the sale of Carroll land to pay  
expenses, that has not been expended and ...for what has been expend. I have  
no ... for the dollar. I paid for (looks like) recording stamp to put on deed,  
this stamp you must charge (or change) as though bought by yourself in person. 
 
Enclosed you will find ... for $17.10 
 
Besides I paid first stamp for deed 1.00 
 
Cash enclosed 11.90 
 
Aggregate $30.00 
 
Please sign and stamp the enclosed receipt and send it to me by mail.

(Explanation:  Mitchel died in Jefferson County FL but owned properties in  
Carroll Co., GA at the time of his demise.  I've sent this and other info. to  
that county and state already.)
