Harper and H.T. Harper of the first part of the county of Douglas of the other part and J.L. Maroney of the county of Douglas and state of Georgia of the other part. Witnesseth that the said J.D. Harper and H.T. Harper for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven hundred and fifty dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said J.L. Maroney his heirs and assigns all the tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the South East corner of lot of land number (113) one hundred and thirteen in the Second district and of originally Carroll now Douglas county, the said containing fifty acres more or less also five acres of lot number (142) one hundred and forty two in the Second district originally Carroll now Douglas county,the same being whereon the saw mill now stand with full water privileges. To have and to hold the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights, member's and appurtenances thereof to the same being belonging or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said J.L. Maroney his heirs, executors and administrators and assigns in fee simple and the said J.D. Harper and H.T. Harper their heirs, executors and administrators, the said bargained premises unto the said J.L. Maroney, his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whosoever. In witness whereof the said J.D.
