THE CARROLL FREE PRESS

Mr. Clarence H. Benett, age 20, died at the home on College Street last 
Thursday after an illness of only three days.
Funeral services were held Friday at 1 o'clock at Whooping Creek, conducted by 
Rev. Joseph Shadinger.
He is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Bennett, one sister, 
Miss Gertrude Bennett, and one brother, Mr. Oscar Bennett, of Carrollton.

Additional Comments:
Also surviving at the time were two sisters, Lula L. Bennett (Mrs. R.R. 
Waldrop, of Upson County) and Eula Mae Bennett (Mrs. Matthew Carpenter, of 
Florida).  All members of immediate family now deceased.
