Pinkey Yates, of Carroll County is sixty-one years old and his wife, fifty-
seven.  They have had twenty children, most of them whom are now living.  A few 
days ago a remarkable incident occurred at Mr. Yate’s house.  A child was there 
that had three grandmothers present.  Mrs. Yate’s mother, who is still living, 
and who was visiting her daughter, was the great-great grandmother, Mrs. Yates 
was the great-grandmother, and one of her daughters was the grandmother.
