MORELAND News

July 6th

Last Wednesday, after weeks of suffering, Mrs. Kansas Benton breathed her 
last. So many times she had been ill and recovered that her friends all 
hoped that she would get well again. But it was not to be. Thursday her 
pastor and a few friends from Moreland went to Whitesburg to pay the last 
tribute of respect. She will be missed in the church and Sunday school and 
also in the Women's Foreign Missionary Society of which she was 
vice-president. She leaves two sons just budding into manhood. May they 
follow her as she followed Christ.
