Friday, September 27, 2002 Martha Grine Campbell Martha Grine Campbell, 98, of Carrollton, Ga., formerly of Slippery Rock, died Wednesday. Born in Butler County, July 21, 1904, she was the daughter of William Herbert and Nancy Lucretia Moore Grine. She had been a cook and manager at Pine Hills Elementary School in Orange County, Fla., for 24 years. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carrollton, the Allie Beall Sunday School Class, Sunshine Club and the Katie Downs Fellowship of United Methodist Women. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Chenault of Erie; two sons, Everett W. Campbell of Georgetown, Texas, and John Campbell of Carrollton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray S. Campbell; and two daughters. CAMPBELL - Funeral services for Martha Grine Campbell, who died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, were held today in the chapel at ALMON FUNERAL HOME, Carrollton, Ga. The Rev. Dr. Jimmy Thurman and the Rev. Dr. William Holt officiated. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando, Fla., with the Rev. Jim Isaacson officiating.
