Davis was one of 14 children born of this marriage.  

In 1900 Bessie Parrilee Davis was residing with her parents & family in 
Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, USA; in 1910 she was residing with her parents 
& family on Carrollton Road, in Georgia Militia District 729, Cross Plains, 
Carroll County, Georgia.

She married 1st Joseph Johnson Williams on January 25, 1911, (Book K, P. 287, 
White) in Carroll County, Georgia.  To this marriage, several children were 
born.

She was a housewife and at the time of her death resided at RFD # 9, 
Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia, USA, and was preceded in death by her 
husband, Joseph, who died June 21, 1933, in Carroll County, Georgia.  She died 
15 May 1973, at the age of 79 years, at Tanner Medical Hospital, Carroll 
County, Georgia, and was buried May 25, 1973 in the Church Cemetery at Cross 
Plains Baptist Church.  Martin Hightower Funeral Home, Carrollton, Carroll 
County, Georgia, officiated.  Georgia, Certificate of Death 11323-73.
