T. J. JACKSON FUNERAL Mr. T. J. Jackson, age 91, died at his home two miles east of Bowdon on Wednesday at 9 p.m. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday by Rev. G.B. Boman at the Yellow Dirt Church, Heard county. The Masonic order of Roopville were in charge at the grave with Dr. Gilbert Dobbs presiding over the Masonic ceremony. Mr. Jackson was a member of the Baptist church and had been a member of the same church for 70 years. He was a Deacon for over 40 years. The deceased was also a Civil War veteran. He is survived by his wife, five sons and four daughters, two sisters and one brother. They were all present except one son, Mr. T.W. Jackson of Temple, Texas. Mr. Jackson was the father of Mrs. J.J. Wager of this city. The News joins in extending sympathy to Mrs. Wager and the bereaved members of the family.
