Lovvorn, president of the Bowdon Railroad Company and the Bowdon Oil & Fertilizer Company, died Monday morning at 7 o'clock at his home here. He was 64 years old. Mr. Lovvorn leaves a wife and three children, five brothers and two sisters. He was a Shriner and a member of the Missionary Baptist church of this city. His brothers are H.A. Lovvorn of Columbus, Ga.; J.T. Lovvorn of Carrollton, Ga.; J.E. Lovvorn of Bowdon, Ga., C.L. Lovvorn of Bowdon, Ga., and Dr. L.M. Lovvorn of Bowdon, Ga. His sisters are Mrs. S.H. Yates and Miss Emma Lovvorn of Bowdon, Ga. The funeral will be held about noon on Tuesday from the Missionary Baptist church here with burial in the city cemetery. The Atlanta Georgian.
