Carroll  Co., Ga.  1875---Elder  Leroy  McWhorter in his 
seventy-eighth year  having  a  companion  in  her
seventy-ninth  year. The  deceased  was  a  native  of
South  Carolina  but  moved  to  Georgia  in  1839.  He
was  a member of  the  Baptist  Church  for  nearly
forty  years, a   minister of  the  gospel over  forty
years  and  the  founder  of  Macedonia  church in  this 
county.  He  was  afflicted  with palsy  for  many  years
and  suffered ________  the  most  of  his life.  Always 
a  poor  man  he  was  compelled  to  perform  much
manuel  labor  in  rearing  a  family.

The  original  obit  was  in  my  great-aunt  things  and
is  a  little  worse  for  wear.
