He was born in Carroll County, Feb, 28, 1929, son of Mrs. Mary Daniel Nixon of Bremen and the late Oliver P. Nixon. Mr. Nixon was a veteran of World War II, a member of First Baptist Church, a member of the Horace Orr American Legion Post 29 in Marietta and a member of the Kermit Chambers V. F. W.
