FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR HOMER NORTON AT CANE CREEK CHURCH

Bowdon, Ga., May 30

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Homer 
Norton, 47, at the Cane Creek church near Heflin with Rev. Patty and Rev. 
Bruce officiating. Mr. Norton, who was with Cook and Causey Lumber company, 
died at his home here after an illness of two weeks. He is survived by his 
wife and five children, Mrs. Loman Darnell of near Tallapoosa; Ralph Norton 
of New Jersey; Hugh, Frank and Hamp Norton of Bowdon.
