Raymond Lewis Phillips was born July 19, 1899, in Carroll Co., GA.  His 
parents were As Berry Phillips and Lucretia Araminta Lewis Phillips. Raymond 
married Myrtle Pauline Carroll on October 18, 1925. Raymond died April 13, 
1957, in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. 

Additional Comments:
Raymond and Myrtle had four children, all boys. (1) Raymond Lewis Phillips, 
born 1926, but died of birth complications; (2) Joseph Lewis Phillips, born 
March 12, 1930; (3) Rodric M. Phillips, Sr., born August 12, 1937; and (4) 
George Steven Phillips, born March 16, 1940.
