The future groom is the grand son of Mrs. Elizabeth DeRieux, Ms. Evelyn Long, the late Ralph DeRieux, all of Knoxville, TN., and Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Long of Pittsburg, Pa. DeRieux is a 1992 graduate of Ooltewah High School in Ooltewah, TN. and graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville magna cum laude in 1997 with a BS in Civil Engineering. He is employed with RA-LIN and Associates in Carrollton. A late April 2002 wedding is planned at Carrollton Presbyterian Church. PEEK - SABO Mrs. Karen Fuller Peek of Carrollton announces the forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Kristen Elizabeth Peek, to Jeremy Tyler Sabo son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy F. Sabo of Carrollton. Miss Peek is the daughter of the late John Ronald Peek of Carrollton. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris. B. Beckham and the late Robert L. (R.L.) Fuller and the step-granddaughter of the late J.E. Beckham Sr., all of Carrollton, Mrs. Jewel H. Peek and the late Howard Donald Peek of Cedartown. The bride elect is a 1997 honor graduate of Carrollton High School and a Dec. 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science Education degree majoring in Science Education. She began graduate studies at the University of Georgia in January 2002. Sabo is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sabo of Chester, ILL. and the late Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Guice Jr., of Bremen. The future groom is a 1997 honor graduate of Carrollton High School and a Dec. 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of Education degree majoring in Sports Studies. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Multi-discipline Education. He is employed by Lakeview Middle School as a 6th grade math teacher. She is the granddaughter of Mary Bearden and the late Guy Bearden of Carrollton and Evelyn Reece and Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Reece of Temple. Holloway is a graduate of Carrollton High School and is employed by Viking Supply Net in Atlanta. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Springer and the late Charles Springer of Carrollton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady Holloway of Fla. The wedding will be April 13, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Abilene Baptist Church in Carrollton. ODOM-SHIPP Mr. and Mrs. Charles Donald Odom of Fayetteville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Lorelei Shell to Joel Kreston Shipp son of Evelyn Ragsdale Shipp and the late Sheriff J.K. "Bob" Ship of Dallas. Miss Odom graduated from Fayette County High School in 1991 with honors and is a 1995 graduate of West Georgia College with a B.B.A. in Management, now working for Southwire Company. Shipp owned Shipp's Music of Carrollton from 1985 until 1998 and is pursuing a degree in Middle Grades Education at the State University of West Georgia. He is a bass guitarist for Watusi rodeo. He is a graduate of Bremen High School and attended Jacksonville State University and graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center at Cap May, N.J. in 1994.
