Carroll Co., Georgia Marriage Book K (1868-1877), pg 235

State of Georgia, Carroll County}

To any minister of the Gospel, Judge or Justice of the Peace, you are hereby 
authorized and permitted to join in the honorable state of Matrimony, A. B. 
King and Miss M. E. Warren, provided there be no lawful cause to obstruct the 
same according to the Constitution and Laws of this state and for so doing this 
shall be your sufficient License. 

Given under my hand and seal this 20th day of December 1875.

A. B. King and Miss M. E. Warren were joined together in the holy bonds of 
Matrimony on the 25th day of December 1873 by me,

Note: In the marriage book, the license is mis-indexed as Ring instead of King.

Benjamin & Mary are my 2X Great-grandparents.  They were the parents to 12 
children documented.   Mary states in 1900 Census that she has 12/13 children 
living.
