Bell filed in office Aug 14th, 1906 W. B. Bannon, Ordinary Georgia, Carroll County. In the name of God amen. I John T. Bell being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this and declare this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills and testaments made by me, and will that all my goods and effects be disposed of in the manner and form as described in the items following. Item 1 I will my soal to god who gave it, and my body to the dust from which it came. Item 2 I will that any just debts be paid as soon after my death as is possible and convenient. Item 3 I will to Geo E. Bell all my real and personal estate in trust for my minor children. George Hardy, William Harvie, and James Dozier Bell, and will that he hold the same intact for the use of my said minor children until my youngest child, James Dozier attains his majority. I direct that at my death the said Geo E. Bell shall take charge of all the property herein after named, care for, manage and direct the same with the same degree of interest as nearly as may be, which has charecterized my conduct of it. That out of the proceeds of this property my children shall be clothed, schooled, and maintained as nearly as possible in the same manner and style as has been done by me in my lifetime out of those resources, and when this is any reminder of proceeds which may exist shall be placed in savings for my monor children after the expenses of conducting the said estate have been paid and the renumeration to said Geo E. Bell such as he shall fix as in his judgment he sees best for conducting expenses for keeping said property intact. Item 4 I will that when James Dozier my youngest child attains his majority that all my said property be equally divided between my said minor children and I will that if either of there my said minor children should die before the said child James Dozier attains his majority, then at his majority my said estate be equally divided between ones then living. And I will that if any son James Dozier should die before his majority then any said property shall be equally divided between the remaining children then living when they attain their majority. Item 5 I will that if my minor children should need funds for their education or other purposes over the above what proceeds of my said estate amount to it shall be advanced to them out of the said estate and the same shall be charged to their interest in the said estate. Item 6 I desire and direct that my three boys, George Hardy, William Harvie, and James Dozier attain their majority said Geo E. Bell or my executor shall furnish them each a house out of any estate the value of which to be adjusted upon the basis of direction of item V of this will. Item 7 All the real-estate contemplated by item 1 of this will and all succeeding items is as follows: All of the Southeast quarter of land lot 192 in 5th dist. of Carroll County, Ga, containing fifty (50) acres more or less. The lines to this land property have recently been established by the County Surveyors or and the same measured which generated fifty six acres.(56). Also the east half of lot of land No 161 in the 5th Dist Carrol county, gad, containing one hundred and one fourth acres (104 1/2) more or less. Also all the part of the estate of Jodi Bell my wife that I have bought, the same being the interest of A.T. Ridgway, P.B. Ridgway, and Alma Stallings in the estate of Jodi bell. And in addition of the above items of real estate all my personal and perishable property. Item 8 To my youngest son James Dozier I will my feather bed and bedding given me by my father. To my son William Harvie I give my large trunk-to my son George Hardy I will my small trunk and my Shot-gun, there things being desired by them as souvenirs. Item 9 I appoint as my executor of my last will and testimate and as guardian for my monor children, Geo E. Bell, and will that he shall assume both executorship and guardianship without bond, and if Geo E. Bell should die or become disqualified before the expiration of the executorship or guardianship then I appoint as alternate for him, W.A. Bell under the same conditions as Geo E. Bell Item 10 I will and direct that Ruby Pearl Bell and my niece Mattie Roselle Bell my niece be paid out of the proceeds of my estate the sum of $5.00 per month for each month they staid with me and waited on me in my sickness except for services already paid for in my life time, as pay for their servicews and same to be considered as part of item 2. In testimony as hereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal, this 17th day of July, 1905. John T. Bell Signed and published by John T. bell as his last will and testimate in the presence of the undersigned who subscribed our names hereto as witnesses as instance and request of said testator and in his presences and in presence of each other.
