Item 1st Provided my Wife Mary McWhorter survive me I hereby give, grant, bequeath & devise unto her all my real and personal estate during her natural life for her own personal benefit and to her sole use and after her decease all the property both real and personal to be sold and all Just debts and expenses that may have accrued to be paid out of the proceeds of said sale, and my Daughter in law Mary Ann McWhorter to have the sum of thirty seven dollars paid to her from sale of the same property provided there is balance after complying with the aforesaid then my four Grand children Leroy Johnston, Thomas Johnston, Alfred Johnston and Martha McWhorter to have the sum of One hundred and fifty dollars to be equally divided among them provided there be that amount, but if not whatever there is to be disposed of and applied to the same purpose Provided there is Still a remainder then it is to be divided equally among all my heirs.
